Information: This was the last show Izzy did as a member of the band. Sebastian Bach makes this the last time Skid Row was allowed to play Wembley Stadium because prior to the show officials send the band a letter telling them that they are not allowed to play their song "Get The Fuck Out" and not allowed to use the word "fuck" at all. Nevertheless they played the song and even encouraged the fans to chant the four letter word. |

In Their Own Words |

Slash: It wasn’t until Guns N’
Roses were playing Wembley that I got a phone call from a guy saying he was
my dad’s brother. It really was him, so the whole family came backstage at
the Wembley gig.1 Dizzy: One day we were having the times of our lives playing a sold-out Wembley and the next day I talk to Izzy and he's like: "I'm leaving the band" and I'm like "what!?" and he's like: "Dizzy... I'm leaving the band." I personally don't understand him to any extent.2 Slash: Izzy's final show was before seventy-two thousand people at Wembley Stadium, in London, a venue we sold out faster than any artist in its history. But it's more worth mentioning that as far as I remember, after Izzy informed us that he was leaving, not one of the remaining European shows started late.3 |
