Axl at Parkinson's Research fundraising

According to Blabbermouth, Axl Rose performed at the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research fundraising dinner yesterday, November 11. The event, titled "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson's...", was held at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City. Martin Scorsese and Muhammad Ali co-chaired the event, which was slated to feature additional performances by Sheryl Crow and Rob Thomas.

Michael J. Fox, known from the "Back to The Future" series, recently featured in a commercial in support of the democratic Claire McCaskill, and is well known for backing stem cell research.
