This is not the place if you want to be rude and keep discussions going on forever. Topic hijacking is not tolerated. The same goes for insults and attacks. This includes saying someone suck, calling someone names ("Slash is an asshole") etc. Saying that something sucks is to be tolerated.

You do not need to thank anyone for articles or downloads. You also do not need to post only "I agree" or a smiley only. If you want to post, post something that adds something to the discussion.

VR has many forums on their own. If you want to post about them, those places are much better for that. We do allow some discussion of the band, but that should be kept in the GnR solo section.

Before creating a new topic, check if there already is one about the same subject in the last 10-15 topics. But do not be afraid to post!

Reading only CAPITAL letters can be annoying to some. Please respect that. Colors can serve a function, but please no posts in all yellow or hard colors to read!

Please post in English only. We encourage everyone to post, including those who does not speak English fluently. The only way to learn it is to talk! Thus you should not attack anyone or make jokes of anyone because they do not talk english perfectly.

Topic titles that reveal what is in the topic are better than those that do not. If you think about naming your topic "wow", ask yourself if you want a forum full of topics like that. Posts in the download and tour section should include the month, date, year, location and if it is a download, the file format. In the tour section, it is also nice if you include what is in the topic (for example reviews)

This forum is not made for these purposes.

The rules are more relaxed in Any, especially rules Part 1, §1-2. Sometimes nudity MAY also be accepted in this section for humorous purposes, but remember to mark the topics.

If you use different computers at the forum, you can use the same account both places. If you have several accounts, you may earn yourself a ban.

We depend on being able to communicate with our users. We prefer solving things through dialogue, and PMs is the best tool for that. Please check your private messages, because it makes everything easier for us. If your inbox goes full, the forum may automatically delete your oldes messages.

If you want, you can add a signature to your profile. The maximum size is 450 x 150.

If you want to use a personal icon, please use a small image. Images bigger than 100 x 100 pixels are not allowed.

We do not want any official files here.

If your topic contains mp3, mark it [mp3], if it contains mpegs, mark it [mpeg]. Sometimes you may upload a mix of formats, but please specify this too.

Posting our audio and video MEDIA links at other forums is not allowed. If you download something and then re-upload it again, it is acceptable if you credit www.gnrsource.com for the download. We do sample tests at other forums to see if our links are stolen.

The only exception to this rule is selling tickets at face value. Every other attempt to sell is subject to the consequences in part 5.

By respect for Buckethead, we do not want these images on this forum.

Posting personal information about other people is not allowed. If someone ask for contact information for someone that is not you, use the PM function AND make sure the owner of the e-mail allows you to send this information.

You may receive a warning by the staff for any violation of the rules. Three warnings means you will get a ban. We prefer to avoid this, so please ask the staff if the rules are not clear.

In some cases, a user can be banned temporarily if we have reasons to believe that this will prevent him or her from breaking the forum rules. This shall be used rarely, and the ban should be removed shortly - normaly within 24 hours.

In special cases, like extreme harassment or spam to reach a section limit, admins can permanently ban you without a warning.

Basically if you want the ban lifted, you will have to e-mail one of the admins, and all admins will have to agree to remove the ban. Contact info can be found on the main page.
