Who has managed GnR?

Guns n' Roses has been managed by the following:

Alan Niven [1986-1991]
Alan Niven was the first Guns n' Roses manager. With whom they made their shocking debut album 'Appetite for Destruction' and the non less controversial 'GN'R Lies'. He was fired in 1991; because
he booked tour dates before the Use Your Illusion albums were done, and tried to push it out.

Doug Goldstein [1991-2001]
Doug Goldstein managed GnR through the Use Your Illusion tour and far into the making of "Chinese Democracy". Doug probably got fired because he rescheduled tour dates that shouldn't have been rescheduled.

Merck Mercuriadis [2001-2006]
Took over after Doug Goldstein. Merck has presented himself in a way that makes him highly controversial among fans. He weights communication with the fans higher than prior managers, but at the same time, he seems to use his position to prevent news from being on fan's message boards. Merck also represents Iron Maiden and Pet Shop Boys among others. Mercuriadis was fired in December, 2006. The official reason was that he did not present the release in a proper way.

Vicki Hamilton claims she managed the band, but that is not entirely true. That story is told elsewhere in this FAQ.
