Eric Singer was born May 12, 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio. He got into music at a young age and  started playing drums in his early teens. Through working hard, Eric soon buildt up a name as a solid drummer, and he did session work and touring with artists like Lita Ford, Gary Moore, Black Sabbath and Badlands. Singer also did the Trash tour and Hey Stoopid tour with Alice Cooper and he joined Paul Stanley, when playing with him at his east coust tour in 1989.

In 1991, Singer joined Kiss to fill in for drummer Eric Carr who was stricken with cancer. Paul Stanley had put in a good word for Singer, and when Carr died later that year, Singer got the spot on a permanent basis. Over the next years, Kiss released "Revenge" (1992), "Alive III" (1993), "MTV Unplugged" (1996) and "Carnival of Souls: The Final Sessions" (1997) - all with Singer drumming.

In 1996, the original Kiss line-up reunited and Singer found himself without a job. He recorded songs for various tribute albums (Alice Cooper, Rod Stewart, Ace Frehley and Queen) and he also put together his own band E.S.P. (The Eric Singer Project), which featured John Corabi and Karl Cochran. Their debut album, "E.S.P." was released in 1999 on Eureka.

Following this, Singer toured with Alice Cooper again, as well as joining Gilby Clarke on several albums.
